Pasta in white sauce

Pasta in white sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup spiral pasta
  • 1 cup chopped white button mushrooms
  • 1 capsicum each  - red and yellow
  • 1 medium onion/pyaaz, chopped
  • 4-5 small garlic finely chopped
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp dry oregano, chilli flakes or mixed herbs
  • 2 to 3 tbsp butter
  •  4 cubes of grated cheese 
  • salt and black pepper as required
Method:
  1. Heat enough water in a pan with salt and a few drops of oil when the water comes to a boil, add the pasta and boil them till they are completely cooked.Strain  pasta and rinse with water drain and keep aside.
  2. In a pan, add the butter, onion and garlic and saute till the onions are softened then add the mushroom and  saute till the mushrooms are lightly browned from the sides the mushrooms will release water.
  3. Then add the chopped capsicum and saute for 5-7 minutes.
  4. In another pan add maida and saute for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. add the boiled vegetables and saute for a minute.
  6. pour milk to the pan and keep on stirring the flour will combine with the milk and you will see the sauce getting thick slowly. season with salt, pepper, red chilli flakes, oregano or mixed herbs.
  7. When the sauce stars to thicken now add the pasta.
  8. Stir well so that the sauce coats the pasta. switch off the flame.
  9. If the sauce becomes too thick, add some hot milk and thin the sauce add some grated cheese if required.
  10. serve hot with garlic bread or you can have it without bread....

Pasta with veggies

This recipe has been taught to me by my hubby he used to make this for tea time when he had made it for the very first time I had liked it...After that I tried by hands in doing it n now I only made it whenever I feel like having it....

Ingredients:
2 cups spiral pasta ( I hv used del monte)
1 onion
Few curry leaves
7-8 cloves of garlic chopped
1/2 tsp pepper pdr
Salt
Olive oil
1 tsp oregano n mixed herbs
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
2-3 cheese cubes
1 1/2 cups of veggies ( I hv used red, green yellow capsicum n mushrooms)

Method:

Boil water in a big vessel add salt n little oil onces it boils add pasta n cook till it's done.
Now drain the pasta n keep the pasta under running water for few seconds drain the water compelety n keep aside....
In a pan add oil onces hot add garlic n saute it. Now add onion n saute for 3-4 mins....

Add pepper pdr n curry leaves saute it .... Add the veggies n cook for 7-8 mins add salt n cheese cubes( I hv used Britannia) mix well.... Now add pasta n toss it well....

Switch off the flame and add the herbs n flakes toss it well so that everything combines together...... Serve hot.....yummy yummy pasta.....

Mayo Cheese Macaroni


Mayo n cheese macaroni with capsicum n onion








Ingredients:
One packet of elbow macaroni
One cheese cube
4 tsp mayo
Half capsicum n one onion both chopped
Oregano mixed herbs salt pepper pdr n chilli flakes as per ur taste.

Method: 


Take water in a pan bring it to a boil add macaroni along with little olive oil n salt boil it till the macronis r cooked. Drain it n keep it aside.

In another pan add olive oil chopped onion n chopped capsicum saute for 5 mins add d macaroni then add mayo, pepper, little salt, flakes ,mixed herbs n oregano toss it well. Serve hot.
